障害基礎年金の申請方法②：事後重症による障害基礎年金

事後重症による障害年金とは、障害認定日には障害状態が基準を満たしていなかったが、その後に重症化して障害の程度が基準以上になったときに請求することができる障害年金手続きをいいます。
請求をする日以前３ヶ月以内の診断書を添えて申請します。
この申請が認められれば、請求をした日の属する月から受給権が発生し、その翌月分から年金が支給されます。
【支給要件】
１．障害認定日に障害等級１級または2級に該当する状態になかったこと
２．65歳に達する日の前日までの間に、その障害が悪化し障害等級１級または2級に該当したこと
※初診日要件・保険料納付要件についても、満たしていることが必要です。
【支給月について】
事後重症による障害基礎年金は、65歳に達する日の前日までの間に請求すれば、その請求月の翌月から支給されることになります。
事後重症の場合、請求月の翌月からしか年金は支給されず、一般の障害年金のように障害認定日まで遡って請求することができませんので、ご注意ください。
障害が重たくなったと感じたら、すぐに手続きすることをお勧めします。
また、65歳到達日以降（老齢基礎年金の繰り上げ請求をしているときにはその請求日以降）は老齢基礎年金が優先し、障害年金は請求できませんので、こちらも注意が必要です。
