障害基礎年金の申請方法③：はじめて２級の障害基礎年金

はじめて２級の障害基礎年金とは、すでに障害のある人がさらに障害を負ったことによって、それらの障害を併合して初めて２級に該当する場合に請求できる障害年金の手続きをいいます。
要は、障害があったものの障害等級１級または２級に該当していなかった人が、新たに別の障害を負った場合に、二つの障害を合わせてみたときにはじめて障害等級１級または２級に該当したらもらえるという障害基礎年金です。
【支給要件】
１．障害等級の１級または2級に該当しない程度の障害状態にある者に、障害基礎年金の初診日要件および保険料納付要件を満たしている新たな傷病（基準傷病）が発生したこと
２．基準傷病の障害認定日以後65歳に達する日の前日までに、従来の障害と基準傷病による障害とを併せるとはじめて障害等級１級または2級に該当する状態になったこと
※初診日要件・保険料納付要件についても、満たしていることが必要です。
【支給月について】
はじめて2級による障害年金は、本人の請求（請求自体は65歳以降でも可能）に基づき、その請求月の翌月から支給されることになります。しかし、はじめて２級による障害基礎年金は一般の障害基礎年金と違って遡っての請求はできませんのでご注意ください。
