障害年金は初回の手続きですべてが決まる！その２

障害年金の申請は初回の手続きですべて決まるということで、前回は医師が診断書の修正を嫌がることがあるという話しをしました。
今回は、なぜ障害年金の申請は初回ですべて決まるのか、その理由の二つ目についてお話します。
【理由②：審査請求は同じ役所が行う】
初回申請の決定に不服がある場合、年金事務所に審査請求を行うことができます。
この審査請求制度により、本来もらえるはずであった障害年金が不支給となったり、
適切な年金額より低い金額で支給決定された場合にも役所に再度審査してもらえることになります。
しかし、その審査は同じ役所が行うため同じ判断基準が適用され同じ結果となることが多く見られます。
もしかしたら、年金事務所は自分たちの過ちを認めることができないという心情も働いているかもしれません。
第三者機関が審査するわけではないので、
審査請求があるから大丈夫とはいえないのです。
前回のブログで話した医師が診断書の修正に応じないということとあわせて、これら二つの理由により、
障害年金の手続きは初回の申請が非常に重要になります。
自分は受給要件を満たしているから大丈夫と安易に考えるのは大変危険です。
診断書をはじめとした各種書類の不備・矛盾を確認することは非常に難易度が高いものです。
特に、うつ病の方であれば障害年金の手続きがうまくいかないことに心が折れてしまうこともあるかもしれません。
ここは、専門家のアドバイスを受けて手続きを進めることをお勧めします。
