一度支給停止になったあと、障害が悪化した場合の手続き

障害の程度が軽くなった等の理由で障害年金の等級が見直され、障害年金が支給停止となることがあります。
その後、障害の状態が悪化して障害等級1級または2級（障害厚生年金の場合は3級も含む）に該当する場合は、再度障害年金を受給することができます。
そのときに提出するのが、「老齢・障害給付受給権者支給停止事由消滅届」です。
この届を年金事務所に提出することになりますが、支給停止の事由が消滅したことを証明するため、医師の診断書を添付することになります。
支給停止の事由が消滅したと認められると、支給停止事由が消滅した日（診断書の現症日）の翌月分から障害年金の支給が再開されます。
この届出の効果は、障害年金の支給を再開させるだけでなく、等級の改訂という効果があることも特徴です。
例えば、以前うつ病で障害厚生年金３級の年金を受けていたが、３級以上に該当しないとして支給停止となっていた場合、届出書と一緒に提出した診断書により2級と判断されると、３級の障害年金が再開されるのではなく、2級の障害年金が支給されることになり、増額改定の効果も同時に得られるのです。
この手続きは診断書の記載ですべて決まると言っても過言ではありません。
